A shooting in downtown Cedar Falls this week claimed the life of one victim.

Cedar Falls Police reported that at approximately 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, shots were fired at an apartment above Los Cabos Family Restaurant in Cedar Falls. Shortly afterward, a suspect or suspects were seen leaving the area. 24-year-old Grant Thomas Saul was confirmed dead in the apartment. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
