The Panthers completed another sweep of a conference foe as they defeated the Drake Bulldogs in three straight sets. The win moved UNI to 3-0 in conference play early in the season.
Autumn Alitz recorded 10 kills on 14 attack opportunities, giving the junior a .643 attacking percentage.
The first set went back-and-forth before UNI pulled away down the stretch and took the opening set, 25-15.
It was much of the same in the second set as the Panthers battled and won it, 25-18.
UNI completed the sweep with a 25-22 win in the final set. The final set experienced seven ties and four lead changes.
Eryca Hingtgen tallied a match-high 12 kills while Kinsey Caldwell racked up 36 assists on the night.
UNI will begin a two-game road stretch as they are set to take on Wichita State on Friday before heading to Springfield, Mo. to take on Missouri State Saturday. Both teams are 3-1 in Missouri Valley Conference play.
