Last week on Nov. 2 – 3, the UNI Speech Team traveled to Bradley University in Peoria, Ill. Bradley hosted the 77th L.E. Norton Invitational. The team began their competition season on Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Jackrabbit Joust in South Dakota, then moved on to the Schnoor Invitational at Minnesota State University beginning Oct. 18.
Each team member participates in a range of speech events, from impromptu speaking to poetry interpretation. They placed 4th in the Novice Duo Interpretation event.This past weekend, eight UNI Speech Team students traveled to Bradley University in Peoria, IL. The students competed at the 77th L.E. Norton invitational, with many other students from colleges across the Midwest.
