The Black Student Union (BSU) put on their annual 90s skate night on Friday, February 12.

“This event is all of us coming together to have a good time. BSU is hosting it, but it’s for the whole community to come out and have fun,” said sophomore Taraya Johnson.

The event was free and open to the public. Rollerskates were provided, and there were prizes for best skater and best 90s costume. Nostalgic 90s music played in the background.

Junior Brianne Baylor also highlighted the successful community feel the event provided. “This was a great event that really brought the campus together and shows that we can include everyone in a fun, action packed event,” Baylor said.
