Panther Mayhem was originally called the Panther Pep Crew when the group first emerged in 2009. The name Panther Mayhem came about eight years later in 2017. When COVID-19 hit, Panther Mayhem was greatly affected. After a hiatus, Panther Mayhem came back to UNI at the start of the fall 2023 season.

Grocery stores like Aldi keep prices low by selling “private label” brands and keeping overhead costs low. Students can also lower their grocery bill by utilizing store ads to ensure they’re buying groceries at the lowest price point available to them.

After her historic run at the 2024 Paris Paralympics, UNI has announced that senior Olivia Chambers will serve as the Homecoming parade grand marshal. Chambers captured a gold medal and two silver medals for Team USA this summer. Chambers will be honored alongside fellow Paralympian Panthers Jessica Heims and Erin Kerkhoff.

The 2024 Paris Olympics was marked by multiple controversies. Imane Khelif (right) an Algerian boxer, was falsely accused of being transgender as she competed in the first rounds of the women’s boxing competition. Khelif went on to win Algeria’s first ever gold in the sport. Claire Michel, an athlete comepting in the triatholon, fell ill after swimming in the Siene river. The cleanliness of the Siene had been a concern for many over the course of the games.
